1. A change in the menstrual cycle
A sudden shift from regular menstruation to irregular menstruation is alarming. While there are women experiencing irregularity in their menstrual cycle from time to time, it is important to pay attention if there is no menstruation for more than three months.
2. Hormonal imbalances
The number one cause of irregular menstruation is stress which leads to hormonal imbalances. As a result of this, some women might experience a change in their menstural cycle due to progesterone and estrogen imbalances.
3. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and Myoma
Although it might appear unusual, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a probable reason for irregular menstrual cycles. Moreover, a benign tumor called a myoma could also be the cause. Massive myomas can affect the ovaries, which can lead to irregular menstruation.
4. Conduct an ultrasound in your uterus
